Jason and Sarah are the co-owners of Strong Builds Ltd. Together, they are dedicated to bringing clients’ visions to life, guiding them through every step of the renovation and building process with professionalism, care, and expertise.
Jason is a licensed building practitioner with over a decade of construction experience. He leads the Strong Builds team with a commitment to quality craftsmanship and client satisfaction.
Originally from Whakatane, Jason grew up in the outdoors enjoying football, hunting, and fishing. As the winner of the 2019 Master Builder's Apprentice of The Year Competition for the Auckland Region, Jason has a proven track record of excelling in the construction industry. He brings this same level of commitment to every Strong Builds project.
His core business values of transparency, quality craftsmanship, and client satisfaction ensure that when you build with Strong Builds, you will get the results you have been dreaming of.

Strong Builds was established in 2019 by Sam and his wife Chantal, with the vision of creating a team of high performers who encourage and elevate each other, delivering a world-class experience to all their building clients.
Sam gained his building qualification in Whakatane, New Zealand, then moved to Auckland to be with Chantal as she pursued a career in chiropractic. Together, they founded Strong Builds with the vision of creating a construction company that valued its employees and clients with the care they deserved.
Sam employed his best friend from high school, Jason, who quickly became his most trusted carpenter and took on a key role in the business. Sarah, Sam’s sister, quickly elevated to management of the company. Together, Jason and Sarah now oversee all aspects of Strong Builds.
In 2022, Sam was unexpectedly diagnosed with brain cancer and had to step back from the business. He entrusted Strong Builds to his capable and trusted team while he focused on his battle, with Chantal and his family by his side. After a long and hard fight, Sam sadly passed away in April 2023.
His drive, passion, and inspiring enthusiasm are sorely missed, but his presence is forever felt at Strong Builds. The foundation of honesty, excellence, and innovation that Sam built continues to guide Jason and Sarah as they strive every day to exceed the goals and dreams he had for his team and the company.
Rest in peace, Sam. You will always be our heavenly boss man.
